Terms of Service
By using Incogniq, you agree to these terms. They're short — we respect your time.
1. Acceptance
By accessing Incogniq (incogniq.space or incogniq.space), you accept these Terms of Service. If you disagree, please do not use the platform.
2. Permitted Use
You may use Incogniq for lawful, private communication. You must not:
- Use the platform to transmit illegal content
- Attempt to de-anonymize other users
- Abuse the infrastructure (DDoS, spam, scraping)
- Use Incogniq to coordinate harm to others
- Attempt to break or circumvent the encryption system
3. Ephemeral Nature
Messages are encrypted client-side and ephemeral. We do not store message content. You acknowledge that room sessions end permanently when all participants leave. We cannot recover lost messages.
4. No Warranty
Incogniq is provided "as-is." We make no guarantees about uptime, availability, or absolute security. We are honest about our threat model — see the Security page for what we protect against and what we cannot.
5. Limitation of Liability
Incogniq and its creator (Anupam Jha) are not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the platform, including data loss, communication failure, or third-party actions.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be announced on the platform.
